O and Dentyne “Good Choices” winner announced

O, The Oprah Magazine and Dentyne are proud to announce the winner of the Good Choices campaign. Annemarie Robbertse, from Gauteng, walked away with the main prize: R100,000 towards the good choices she outlined on her good choices board. 

The O and Dentyne Good Choices campaign kicked off in May 2012 with an exciting online tool, reader competition and an event headlined by O contributor and world-renowned life coach, Martha Beck. The campaign aimed to take readers on a journey of self-discovery, assisting them to become the best version of themselves by making good, positive choices every day. 

With the online tool, readers had the opportunity to build their own Good Choices board and stood the chance to win R100,000 towards fulfilling their dreams. Over 3,000 entries were received from readers, and 10 finalists were profiled in the October issue of O.  

Annemarie runs her own business and is eager to succeed and support her family – however, she feels self-conscious about her smile. Annemarie appreciates the power of a great smile, and believes that reconstructive dental work will improve her self-esteem and give her career the boost it needs. Annemarie’s board showcased the good choices she’s making every day, and emphasised her desire to uplift herself and her family. 

“O and Dentyne identified ways we could help her reach her goals, from improving her confidence to refining her workspace,” says O’s editor, Samantha Page. “We have awarded her expert dental work, life-coaching sessions, computer software for her home office and a day of pampering at a spa for her and a friend.”

The Good Choices online tool is still active on the Good Choices website at Goodchoices.co.za and readers are encouraged to continue to use it as they navigate their best-life journey.
