Introducing The Lingerie Issue

The highly anticipated annual The Lingerie Issue, published by Associated Media Publishing in partnership with Netsport Media Marketing hits the shelves this month. Showcasing South Africa’s premier lingerie brands, The Lingerie Issue features 76 pages of the latest trends in intimate wear.

On the cover is local superstar Chiano Sky, wearing a jaunty captain’s cap and a black La Senza chemise glimmering with rhinestones. The popular singer, in La Senza lingerie, graces seven further pages inside the magazine. Other famous faces appearing in The Lingerie Issue include model presenter and Always Platinum ambassador, Lerato Kganyago and well-known models Morgan Shelly and Adeola Ariyo, to name a few. Brands included are Guess, Elle Macpherson Intimates, Jockey, Triumph/sloggi, Edgars Shelley & Temptations, After Eden and Ackermans.

In addition to the print magazine, complimentary Lingerie Issue platforms will be rolled out over the next few weeks. For model profiles and behind-the-scenes footage of the lingerie shoots, readers can log on to The Lingerie Issue website at www.lingerieissue.com from 17 September.

On 26 September a spectacular, by-invitation-only fashion show will be held at Canal Walk Shopping Centre (think SA’s top models, stunning lingerie, entertainment by Jimmy Nevis, and the SKYY Vodka official after-party at Club 31…). Four days later, on 30 September, readers will be able to download the digital version of The Lingerie Issue. And then there’ll be the draw for the Always Platinum competition on the website – entrants stand a chance of winning R10 000 for submitting a “Moment Of Closeness” picture with a loved one.
