O Breathing Space
Calling on the aspirational and inspirational force that is Oprah Winfrey, O Breathing Space is O, The Oprah Magazine's little piece of heaven where the O Woman can escape from life and quite literally take a breath. The website is essentially a digital photo exhibition of the beautiful South African landscape, populated with submissions by the magazine's readers.
Launched in December 2008, the OBS website was created as an extension of the magazine's regular double-page spread. Whether it's the brilliance of a waterfall, the serenity of a mountain lake or the simplicity of a rainbow, readers are invited to share the beauty of their surroundings with the O community as well as friends and family. And by submitting an inspirational photo, you are automatically entered into the monthly competition.
Hundreds of moving photographs continue to be submitted, fostering our belief that South Africa truly has one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
